Man-Made Global Warming Left Out In The Cold
Cold weather headlines are everywhere in October 2008. Global newspapers report the earliest snowfall in London since 1922. In Switzerland, the Swiss lowlands received the most snow for any October since records began in 1931. New Zealand has experienced cold not seen in years and the Arctic had record cold and snow.

In the United States, an arctic blast brought heavy snows to New Jersey and the suburbs of Philadelphia. More than two feet of October snow was reported in the Catskills. The cold reached all the way down to Florida where there were many new record lows.
Of course, none of this global cold weather matters to the climate change alarmists at the United Nations. The U. N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climatic Change (IPCC) believes that CO2 is the cause of global warming and they continue to predict that the Earth is in store for catastrophic warming later in this century.
IPCC climate change computer models have predicted global warming of 1 degree Fahrenheit per decade and 10 degrees Fahrenheit in total by the year 2100. The result of the warming would be global catastrophe with dubious ramifications for human life, natural habitat, energy water resources, and food production early in the next century.
In fact, rising temperatures from man-made global warming were forecast for each decade by the IPCC prior to the start of this century. The basis of this prediction of global warming is a climate model based on the assumption that global warming is caused by increasing atmospheric CO2 gas emissions and that CO2 will continue to rise rapidly.
So, how are computer models doing in predicting global climate change since the world is now about eighty percent through the first decade of the new century? Well, global temperatures certainly have not risen by the models prediction of 1 degree Fahrenheit
The truth is that global temperatures have dramatically fallen from their peak ten years ago, and have now wiped out all the warming of the last three decades. Meanwhile, CO2 in the atmosphere continues to rise rapidly. Despite this continued rise in CO2, the first half of this year was the coolest in the least five years, according to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
Since the planet has cooled, these same computer models that have incorrectly predicted global warming in the last ten years have begun to change. Many climate models are now predicting that there will be no change in global temperature for the next decade. Some models even predict that there will be no significant warming again until the year 2030.
Recently, Physicist and Science writer James Trefil made the following observation about climate computer models: "A comparison of nearly all of the most sophisticated climate models with actual measurements of current climate conditions found the models in error by about 100 percent in cloud cover, 50 percent in precipitation, and 30 percent in temperature change. Even the best models give temperature change results differing from each other by a factor of two or more."
Also, consider the recent research of Roy Spencer, a team leader on NASA’s Aqua Satellite. Spencer believes natural cycles account for most of last century’s warming, with carbon dioxide increases contributing only a modest amount.

Spencer unveiled new research, which has been submitted to Geophysical Research Letters for publication, which appears to show that climate models overstate the positive feedback from more carbon dioxide, and therefore grossly overstate the projected warming during the next century. He said his work suggests the Earth will warm by about 1 degree Fahrenheit or less during the next century, not close to the extent projected by the IPCC process.
Last month, Velasco Herrera, (a researcher at the Institute of Geophysics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico) addressed a conference at the Centre for Applied Sciences and Technological Development. He said that the predictions of the IPCC of a increase in temperatures from global warming are erroneous because they are based only on mathematical models and present results and scenarios that do not include solar activity.
Our climate is dramatically cooling while CO2 gas is still on the rise. Climate models that predict global warming have proven incorrect, while new scientific research suggests that global climate change is not man-made, but part of a natural environmental cycle.

So, as global temperatures dramatically cool, and faith in the IPCC continues its decline, the concept of man-made global warming is about to be left out in the cold, and those incorrect climate computer models won’t be too far behind.
